Ceramic Diffuser and Plate Set

Individually handmade ceramic set of reed diffuser vase with signature Peacock design and ceramic plate. Made by our local potter Sarah Jane Lander at The Calf Street Pottery, Hartland. North Devon.

These unique vases and plates add style to any room and an alternative to our standard diffuser glass bottles. Simply select a diffuser refill to add your favourite scent, each refill comes with black fibre reeds which absorb the oils and provides a constant ‘throw’ of scent in any space.

Each vase can hold up to 100ml of liquid and can be reused for other diffuser oils or simply as a decorative piece with flowers. Each one is handmade, so variations are to be expected and adds to the charm.

The ceramic plate is wide enough for both the diffuser vase or one of our diffuser bottles to sit comfortably, adding that extra style as well as protecting wooden surfaces from any spillages. The plate is heat proof so can also be used to burn your favourite incense cones which are available separately.

About Sarah and The Calf Street Pottery.

Having worked as a potter in Hartland North Devon since 1992, Sarah had recently relocated from The No. 39 Pottery to nearby new premises, The Calf Street Pottery.

From this small studio pottery and gallery she produces mostly thrown domestic ware. Using stoneware clay her pots are traditional in form and function, in keeping with the heritage of North Devon ceramics. However they are decorated with coloured slips and designs in a contemporary style.

Her studio is open to the public all year to visitors where they can watch pots being made. A large range of pieces are available from her shop.

We source the majority of our ingredients from a family-owned supplier in the Southwest of England. These ingredients are NOT tested on animals and where ever possible are supplied in reusable materials.

For Ceramic Diffuser Vase

To get the best from your ceramic accessory, simply follow these easy steps:

  • Decant your favourite room diffuser liquid into the vase – it will hold up to 100ml.
  • Insert the reeds. For a more subtle fragrance, use fewer reeds.
  • Once the oil has fully evaporated, rinse the vase with warm soapy water and allow to try before adding a new diffuser oil.

All our ceramic accessories are packaged in cardboard boxes which are widely recycled.
